4th Grade: Sign Up for Orchestra
5th Grade: Sign Up for Orchestra
Band/orchestra students leave regular class for a 45-minute block on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Students will be required to practice at home and go to the fall and spring semester concerts. These concerts will be a big part of their grade.
Participation in band/orchestra is not mandatory for fifth graders this year. If they choose not to participate, they will be getting extra instruction in core subject areas.
If a student is not practicing their instrument at home, forgetting their book too many times, or is misbehaving, they will be pulled from the enrichment and placed back into the regular class.
